Mission Statement

The Haddon Heights Drug Commission (HHDC) is the Borough’s representative organization for the Municipal Alliance Program. The Municipal Alliance Program, which is a network of community based prevention programs, was established and is maintained by the Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (GCADA).  The GCADA was created to coordinate statewide services involving alcoholism and drug abuse. It also is the funding source for the Municipal Alliance Program.  The Camden County Municipal Alliance is the County organization responsible for overseeing each individual Borough municipal alliance. The HHDC determines how funding is distributed through our municipality. In addition, the HHDC raises money (cash-match funds as well as in-kind funds) as required by the GCADA guidelines. The HHDC is comprised of community members to include residents, police officers, council members, and school representatives.
