250 Years of Freedom: Haddon Heights Celebrates America’s Semiquincentennial!
Mark your calendars and dust off your red, white, and blue - Haddon Heights is throwing its annual 4th of July Parade, and everyone is invited! Join your neighbors on Friday, July 4th for a festive morning starting off at 9 AM at the corner of Station and 2nd Avenues. The procession will wind its way down Station Ave, turn left at the historic cannons onto 10th Ave, and make its way up High Street, finishing at Hoff’s Park. This year’s parade is especially exciting as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of our nation.
The parade will feature string bands bringing the music, dance groups showing off their moves, civic organizations representing the heart of our borough, antique cars rolling through in style, decorated bicycles and wagons - a perfect project for the kids, costumes, and decorated pets - because why should people have all the fun? Whether you’re marching, riding, or cheering from the sidewalk, this is a morning you won’t want to miss. Bring your lawn chairs, pack some snacks, and come ready to celebrate the Haddon Heights way.
The fun doesn’t stop at the parade! In honor of America’s Semiquincentennial, Haddon Heights has a full slate of summer events planned. Reach out to Councilwoman Kate Harron at kharron [at] haddonhts.com (kharron[at]haddonhts[dot]com) to get involved.

Parade Rain Date! While we keep our fingers crossed and hope for beautiful weather, we acknowledge that Mother Nature may not be on the same page. If rain forces a postponement of the parade, we will hold the festivities on Sunday, July 5 - all times will remain the same.
