Candidate Information for Local Municipal Office:
To appear on the ballot for one of the following offices, your petition is filed with the Municipal Clerk or Camden County Clerk (see details below):
- Mayor
- Member of Council
- Member of County Committee (Partisan Primary only)
To run as a partisan candidate (Democrat or Republican) in the June Primary Election:
- Your petition must be filed with the Municipal Clerk before 4:00 p.m. on or before the 64th day prior to Primary Election.

To run as an independent candidate in the November General Election:
- Your petition must be filed with the County Clerk’s Office, Election Division, 100 University Ct., Blackwood, NJ 08012, before 4:00 pm on or before Primary Election Day
- Nomination Petitions are available at the County Clerk’s Office, Election Division, 100 University Ct., Blackwood, NJ 08012, during normal business hours. Instructions and number of signature required are included with the petitions.
